This is a Turner Designed to Capture Dynamic Timelapses with GoPro. What You Need: Inside the case, an Arduino Uno (code below) and a standard servo motor (I used a Hitec HS-422 that I had on hand) are installed. A solder connection Arduino hat makes connections easier. You'll also need a potentiometer and two LEDs. The system is powered by a 12V LiPo battery plugged into the outside connector, which starts turning immediately when connected. Assembly: A wiring diagram is attached to help with assembly. The servo and LEDs were secured with hot glue, while the bottom plate was bonded with a soldering iron, melting the parts together. Using: To capture dynamic timelapses, the GoPro must be programmed to take photos at regular intervals. The speed of rotation can be adjusted until you find the best combination. One LED flashes every time it moves, and another flashes when it reaches its travel limit. Code: Two versions are attached; I modified one to bypass the potentiometer after my cheap model failed, allowing me to control speed independently.
