Automatic Fan/Aux Switch for the UP! Printer.

After upgrading the stepper motor's cooling system, which drew power from a separate supply, I required a means to activate the fan automatically when the printer became active. A solution aside from using a master/slave power strip wasn't satisfactory. So, I created this! A simple microswitch that triggers the fan or any other device you desire whenever the platform moves beyond its shutdown position is what it is! You will need a microswitch featuring an elongated metal tag, approximately twice as long as the plastic component - I am fairly certain Jaycar stocks them. Instructions To achieve optimal results, print the side section in a flat orientation on the build platform. Supports are not required for this print.
