This is a straightforward system for automatically closing doors. You can use it indoors, in your garden, or on a fence - feel free to do so. It's fully mechanical and doesn't require any electronics. To build this system, you'll need the following additional parts: 1. A bearing 606ZZ (I might also add an impeller without a bearing, which should work just as well) 2. Some weights (such as sand, leadscrew, or something that fits inside the cylinder) 3. Glue to seal the weight-cylinder 4. Screws for mounting 5. A strong cord Notes: If you don't use the impeller holder to guide the door on the left side, you can easily mirror it in your slicer program. Function Report Update: Now that I've had this system working for a few days, I have to say it's perfect. The cord stays on track and the door shuts exactly as it should.
