A chip-enabled doggy door is available for pet owners, granting access via a collar chip that activates motors to open the door. The sensor detects when the dog has entered, lowering the door back into place. Additionally, an app could be used in conjunction with a chip-activated sensor to send notifications to your phone, allowing you to remotely control the door's access.
