Automated Sprouter Parts (remixed)

I decided to revive this old project for several reasons:\r\n\r\n1. I wanted longer legs so I wouldn't have to place the sprouter at the edge of the shelf for the drain to function properly. And I thought the old legs looked a bit too slender and fragile.\r\n2. I wanted a larger drain hole, so I wanted something the drain tube fits inside instead of outside.\r\n3. I designed my own trays previously, so I thought it was a good idea to include them here as well.\r\n\r\nAs with the original project, what you need to add to create an automated sprouter is:\r\n\r\n- A laundry room (or some creative alternative). If you have a washer there, a garden hose "wye" to divert the cold water line.\r\n- A clear plastic container or box that measures about 10 inches deep, 11 inches tall and 16 inches wide. I'll include a picture of mine.\r\n- A length of 1/4 inch OD low-pressure clear tubing for drainage. You can probably find this at your local hardware store.\r\n- A mister kit or parts. I use 1/4 inch vinyl tubing and the fittings from "mrdrip.com" along with the 3/4 gph barbed mist nozzles. These have removable heads so you can store them in vinegar between uses to prevent or remove scale buildup.\r\n- A garden hose interval timer. I set mine to every three hours at a duration of three or five minutes.\r\n- Six stainless #4 by 1/2 inch screws (or longer) with nuts, to attach the legs and drain. I recommend mounting the drain piece first, then drilling through the drain hole into the container.\r\n- Scotch Brite pads for the slots of the trays, or to block the holes if you are using a food-grade container with drilled holes as the tray (and in that case a clip to hold the pad in place).\r\n\r\nThe holes for the drain are 14mm apart on center. The holes for the legs are 125mm apart on each leg, and the distance between the legs (at the container side) is 223mm, but this can be adjusted slightly since the legs are two separate pieces.\r\n\r\nI'll attach updated photos and a link to a YouTube video once I redo my existing setup. In the meantime, here's the old one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OY2Ezu5GYMo
