Automated guided vehicle are the autonomous vehicle which are set to perform a particular task. Automated guided vehicle is one of the most useable robots in automation industries for transferring of Job and Product from one place to another. The work performed by manual labour for transferring job and product can be performed using automated guided vehicle. Palletizing and Depalletizing of product can be automatically done which helps in reducing the overall production time for a product. In this project we are designing a prototype of automated guided vehicle with pick and place robot. The pick and place robot attached with Automated Guided Vehicle helps in holding job and product kept after machining. When the machining of the job is completed the robot holds the job and transferred to the new position at certain time. The automated guided path coded in the Arduino follows the designed path and drop it at the perfect location. This automated guided vehicle helps in transferring the component in flexible manufacturing system. They can be used to move products on an assembly line, transport goods throughout a plant or warehouse.
