Automated 3D Scanner

Automated 3D Scanner

thingiverse

First of all, I want to thank Daveyclk and Primer for their groundbreaking ideas. I discovered it here on Thingiverse and decided to create an automated version of the 3D scanner. The scanner takes (by default) two rounds of thirty pictures per round (+10% extra to account for the starting point). In between the rounds, it pauses to make camera adjustments and capture another viewpoint. The number of rounds and pictures is fully adjustable at startup. After capturing the pictures, I successfully processed them using VisualSFM, Meshlab, and Blender (thanks to 4A44 for providing the instructions: https://www.instructables.com/id/Make-a-3D-model-from-pictures/).
