Automata-4 Ben rides around the clock

Ben pedals solo this time, circling the clock on his trusty unicycle. Following their gym session, I wanted to inject more movement into the character's routine. The notion of a circular path seemed straightforward but rather dull, so I decided to have him rotate a minute hand around a dial while introducing gears that turn the hour hand as well. This way, he can not only teach kids how to tell time but also provide entertainment. A pair of bevel gears with a 3:1 ratio powers the unicycle's motion, and the friction between the wheel and the box's top surface drives the pedals around in circular motion.
