The interlocking puzzle pieces provide versatility in creating various shapes by combining and assembling them. These pieces are also ideal for constructing large structures beyond the capabilities of a laser bench. To utilize this pattern, use an "Epilog zing 40Watt" laser bench, setting power to 100 and speed to 45 for 3mm MDF. Open the .odg file with OpenOffice 3.2; however, note that OpenOffice 3.3 and FreeOffice 3.3 may encounter issues with large printings. Design a pattern with OpenOffice by setting the page size to match your final object's dimensions, such as 1meter x 1 meter. Cut and paste a puzzle bar, extending it to fit within the laser cutting limits. Next, select, copy, intersect/subtract, and paste the piece to divide the object. Repeat this process twice with slightly different cutting lines for an intricate design. Finally, glue the pieces onto a flat surface to create your desired shape. Once you've created a project under LGPL, please share images of your work, as I am eager to see the unique creations that can be achieved with these puzzle pieces!
