This mount installs an inductive proximity probe on the FolgerTech FT-5 and various other printers that utilize this style of extruder. Position it between the heatsink and the fan. Print using ABS or another high-temperature plastic. I have attached my firmware for the FT5, which is Marlin version 2.0.0 with bug fixes up to August 14, 2017. It's been customized but works well on a stock FT5.
