Autolevel L3k Probe
thingiverse
This Probe is an implementation of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2017486, to which I added some parts to use it with L3K You can adapt it to every extruder. The most important part is to know the distance between nozzle and the activation of the calibration probe, when you get this distance it is for ever the same, so you never need to calibrate the bed again. Calibration tips, using Repetier or Simplify3d program these 3 g-codes on 3 different macros. 1-Inicialization. M80; M280 P0 S0; G28; G90; G1 Z10.00; G1 X70.00 Y80.00; M400; M280 P0 S90; G91; 2-Down G1 Z-0.1 M119; 3-Slow down. G1 Z-0.01 M119; The procedure is pretty simple. 1.Run this g-code one time to adjust 1 point in your bed: M280 P0 S0; probe up G28; home G90; absolute coord G1 Z10.00; Z=10 G1 X70.00 Y80.00; one point in the center of the bed G1 Z0; Z=0 M400; wait for finish After running your nozzle will be positioned in some place (adjust the g-code to place it in the center of the bed). Adjust the bed to the right distance, placing a sheet of paper under the nozzle) at this point your nozzle is near 0.1 mm from the bed.(Preheat the nozzle and the bed for better results). Calibration Run macro 1. Run Macro 2 and 3 until the probe is on. Take Z height. It will be something between 9 and 10. When you get the number add 0.1 to this and program it to the controls using this g-code or placing the value in Marlin. Place it in the programming M851 S-9.4 (negative numbers are closer)
