Autobot Mod for Cupcake Transformer
thingiverse
As an American, I've decided to upgrade my Cupcake transformer with a set of 6 wheels. To achieve this, I borrowed the STL for the leg to ensure compatibility. The main purpose of this modification was also to test out my designs for a printable axle. After some trial and error, I came up with a version that works quite well. It's essential to note that this setup may not function correctly if there are too many strings. Turn on the "comb" feature to fix this issue. Additionally, this model prints best when mostly done at low temperatures to handle the modest overhangs. For printing, I recommend 220C for the first layer on the heat bed and 185C for all other layers (my thermistor uses suggested settings which may not be entirely accurate). So far, I've encountered some errors in Skeinforge, but everything printed correctly - let's hope it continues!
