If you're using Repetier or an open-source printer, try importing the .stl file for better results. When removing the supports from the slider, be gentle to avoid damaging it. I smoothed out the edges with a small file. For securing the bracket to the tank, use 10-32 nylon thumb screws. Make sure to drill out the small holes with a bit that's close to 10-32 in size. If the hole is too small, the tap will cause the layers to separate. Only use ABS when printing this design. Avoid using PLA at all costs, as it can become a biodegradable carbon source for aquariums and be consumed quickly.
