Up to 8 inches of float switch depth. Two float switches, one upper and one lower, ensure failsafe operation. Multiple positioning holes provide flexibility in installation. Works seamlessly with both NO and NC switches. Instructions I designed the XYZ Da Vinci 1.0 on my computer using SketchUp. Unfortunately, it failed to import correctly into the XYZ software and slice properly. Instead, I used Silc3r to export to .gcode, edited the header to include the Da Vinci settings, encoded in Base64 and saved as a .3w file. It printed without any issues. If you're using Repetier or an open-source printer, try importing the .stl file for better results. When removing the supports from the slider, be gentle to avoid damaging it. I smoothed out the edges with a small file. For securing the bracket to the tank, use 10-32 nylon thumb screws. Make sure to drill out the small holes with a bit that's close to 10-32 in size. If the hole is too small, the tap will cause the layers to separate. Only use ABS when printing this design. Avoid using PLA at all costs, as it can become a biodegradable carbon source for aquariums and be consumed quickly.
