Auto-siphon fluttering valve

Auto-siphon fluttering valve

Designed for the Easy-siphon (or Auto-siphon) brewing siphon. The valve clicks into the tip of the siphon from inside the tube and acts as a one-way valve when pumping beer between vessels. I had leg on the original valve break and couldn't source a replacement, so I printed one instead. Four legs distribute the vertical force better without sacrificing much in terms of flow-rate. ### Printing: The weakest part of the print is the legs, but printing the valve in the vertical orientation (disk on the bed) seems to work absolutely fine, I haven't had any break in-place yet. A more robust option is printing it horizontally, but this requires supports, increasing post-processing time. ### Installing: The valve clicks into place from inside the siphon. To install it, you'll need a long thin object (I.e. garden stake, dowel, etc.), and tape. Fold a strip of tape back on itself to create double-sided tape, and stick the valve onto the end of the long object. Guide it down the siphon, and when it's at the end, give it a shove and it'll click into place.
