Auto-Refill Dog Water Bowl

<p>This is a bowl that holds water for dogs to drink. you fill a 2-liter bottle with water, then screw the bowl on top of the bottle. when you tip it over, water will fill the bowl until it reaches the top of the bottle. then, no more air can get in so it stops. Works for cats too. This way, you will have to refill your pet's bowl much less often, because when they drink enough, it refills itself. In order to make the seal airtight, you will need some sort of rubber ring that stretches around the neck of the bottle. you can often find these lying around, or sometimes in bottle caps. Another option is to put a thin layer of silicone caulking or even hot glue down around the seal on the 3d printed part, and wait for it to cool/dry with a washer or something flat to ensure that when it is dry, you can screw the cap on and get a good seal.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>I would print with 100% infill to make sure the whole thing is watertight. it helps to slightly over extrude to fill in all of the little gaps, and if you are printing with ABS you can smooth it with acetone. This helps a lot.
