I constructed a custom pet feeder using a 1.25-inch ABS y-connector fitting. This versatile piece is attached at one end to a NEMA stepper motor, which features an integrated housing that encases the feeder screw. At the opposite end of the connector lies a sturdy bracket known as the "feeder front," designed specifically to securely fasten it in place.
