Auto leveling Probe for Printrbot Plus / LC
thingiverse
A simple clip-on probe is now compatible with the new Printrbot auto leveling firmware release. For optimal results, print in PLA with solid infill. The Printrbot Marlin firmware can be found at https://github.com/Printrbot/Marlin/releases, along with additional instructions. To flash your Printrboard firmware, follow the guide at http://printrbot.com/support/instructions-and-guides/instructions-flashing-the-firmware-on-your-printrboard/. Attach a normally closed button to the probe's end and use it in series with the z end stop. When the probe is fully inserted, coordinates should be approximately y = 0, x = 13, and z = -10. Input M212 X13 Y0 Z-10 into the custom gcode area of Slic3r. Remember to take your own measurements for accurate results. Brook's article on auto bed leveling at http://printrbot.com/2014/01/19/printrbot-demonstrates-auto-bed-leveling/ provides further explanation.
