This is a 3D printed jigging and hook setting tipup. Two units, one top and one bottom, are designed to fit together for storage and transport. The screws used in the design will extend slightly through the wall of the box, providing added strength. To achieve this, all layers were fully printed before grinding down any protruding parts with a rotary tool. Non-printed components include: Motor: A DC motor rated 3V-9V, 6V at 10RPM, specifically designed for micro-scale applications. Gearbox: Accommodates the shorter 7.3 mm shaft to optimize performance. Fasteners: Sheet metal screws (6x1/2"): Essential for assembly and securing parts in place. Battery box: A 6v battery compartment, ideal for housing two 18650 batteries or four AA batteries. Mounting hardware: 2-3mm bolts and nuts: Used to secure the motor to its mounting point. 1 - 3mm bolt: Attached to the drive shaft for added stability. Electronics: Waterproof switch (12V, 5Pcs/Set): A 5-button push-switch designed for automotive applications. Miscellaneous components: Cotter pin (28mm): Used as a retaining device in various parts of the assembly. Snap swivel: Ensures smooth rotation and alignment of moving parts. Small zip tie: Provides additional support and organization within the tipup's design. Wood or sheet metal screws: Used to attach the battery box, depending on the selected battery type. 1/4 inch hitch d pin: Secures the assembly in place, preventing unwanted movement.
