If I flip the switch on my printer, it's highly probable that I'm ready to print something right away. This is a basic yet customizable gcode script designed to kick in automatically when the machine boots up with an SD card inserted. It will produce a sound and move the printhead horizontally and forward as a visual cue indicating that the pre-heat script has taken effect. At this point, it's time to start printing. Meanwhile, you can initiate your print job. If no print is started within 10 minutes, the machine will alert you with another sound, cool down the nozzle, and reset the printhead position back to its default state. This functionality has been thoroughly tested on the UM2 model.
