While constructing my Huxley printer, I discovered that adjusting the belts was quite tricky – too loose and it skipped, while too tight led to binding. To resolve this issue, I downloaded STL files from Techzone and made modifications. Here's the first one: the X-axis module. I hope you find it helpful, and if someone prints it at a reasonable cost, please send me one so I can verify its functionality or make further adjustments. This part should be compatible with most printers; next up is the Z-axis, followed by the Y-axis. Instructions: 1. Print the X-axis module part. 2. Place a sturdy spring on the nub of the X module. 3. Attach the other end of the spring to the small part with the slotted hole. 4. Slide the small piece into the groove of the X module. 5. Insert a 3mm bolt into the slotted component. 6. Place the bolt through the designated hole, but do not tighten fully. 7. Let the spring handle the tension for you.
