A Z-axis servo mount for attachment to an X-carriage is described, suitable for various carriages with customizable holes. The initial design accommodates a Temco CN0097 micro switch; however, an updated scad file supports fan mounts as well. Servo switch positioning can be adjusted to either side of the horn. A later modification increased the servo mount thickness to 4mm and added countersinks to prevent interference between screws and lever movement. Print, trim, and mount components with appropriate screws, ensuring clearance for servo arm movement. For power, a 7805 voltage regulator is suggested over the RAMPS board's 5V regulator. A Hitec HS-65HB servo was used in this example, and scad files are partially parameterized.
