I'm implementing an auto bed leveling system on my Prusa i3 rework, utilizing a high-performance Inductive Proximity sensor from Autonics, the PRDL18-14DN. With its impressive 14mm sensing distance, you can forget about adjusting the bed - this sensor has got it covered with its long-range detection and exceptional sensitivity. Simply place the sensor above the glass plate, and below lies your heat bed, featuring a copper PCB that's more than sufficient to activate the sensor, just like in the video demonstration. I've put this setup through numerous print tests without encountering any issues. To top it off, I've uploaded the latest Marlin RC7 firmware with auto bed leveling already configured and ready to go. Here are the print settings I'm using: Printer: RepRap Prusa i3 Rework Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 20% As for the design, it's all about performance when it comes to auto bed leveling.
