Auto Bed Level probe for Geeetech Prusa I3X
thingiverse
Hi everyone, I designed a support and servo arm to make AUTO BED Leveling possible on Geeetech Prusa I3X without changing any part. The servo arm is made to fit snugly onto the extruder's support and be an integral part of it, preventing movement that could result in inaccurate measurements. To create the servo arm, you'll need to pause printing at layer 20 and then insert the original servo arm into the new arm before continuing with the print. I used a digital 5V servo from HobbyKing for this project, which cost just a few dollars - the model number is HKSCM9-5. I've also uploaded modified firmware specifically for my Geeetech Prusa I3X Acrylic printer to GitHub. To get AUTO BED Leveling working, you'll need to adjust your slicer's G-code with an additional command: after the G28 command for homing, add a G29 command for auto bed leveling. Print Settings: Printer: Geeetech Prusa I3X Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 40% Notes: All parts were printed in ABS - be sure to pause printing at layer 20 of the new servo arm and insert the original servo arm before continuing with the print.
