An idea for automatic cooling for a Nema17 motor. Blades attach to the motor shaft via a 7mm Neodymium magnet 2mm thick. So in theory the blades will spin along with the motor but not add much weight for the motor to compensate for when braking or accelerating hard. Ive added in a cone on the propeller and some rolled edges on the housing to help increase static pressure and airflow. Ill end up designing a geared version of this one to get the propeller really spinning. That one I will need probably a dual output Nema17 to run the gearbox properly. Technically you could use this for an extruder as well. Not as fancy as the other ones. Functional, yes. Everything is easy print and easy install.
