Australian Native Bee hive Acrylic Laser Cut
thingiverse
I aim to build an educational observatory with a sturdy structure, comprising of two layers of acrylic material - 3.10mm thick internally and 4.17mm externally. The inner layer will be made entirely of transparent clear acrylic, allowing for unobstructed observation, while the outer layer is constructed from black acrylic, providing complete concealment. At the top, I intend to utilize a clear projector screen sheet, which will be securely covered by a black acrylic lid. To ensure maximum water resistance and protection from light infiltration, I plan to apply weatherproof sealant around the edges of the top section.
