A specimen of left humerus from an Australian magpie, specifically Gymnorhina tibicen, resides within Auckland War Memorial Museum's collections, identifiable by accession number LB7003. Samantha Carruthers, a researcher affiliated with Massey University's School of Natural and Computational Sciences, produced a digital bone replica utilizing the HP SLS-3 3D scanner accompanied by the HP 3D scan 5 software. Post-processing was executed in Blender 2.8x. The longest axis of this bone measures 56.7 mm in length.
