The device features an RGB LED that indicates active auroras for your location, with 30-60 minute advance warning and color strength representing storm intensity. The unit can be set up for your specific location and also tweets detailed information via a dedicated Twitter feed. Print the accompanying Inukshuk guide using provided files, then follow simple instructions to build this easy project. Tested Arduino boards, LEDs, and resistors are listed, along with a source code link (https://github.com/jetty840/AuroraMonitor). Viewing tips for the Aurora are also included in the instructions.
