This Will Work...\nI'm still testing it, but it appears to take a lot of bending/strain off the motor wires.\nYou'll need three mini zip ties to mount it properly.\nThe constant back-and-forth of the print head, bending the extruder motor plug wires ever so slightly finally took their toll. All four wire started to fail and the extruder motor started skipping, rendering prints a disastrous failure. \nAfter painstakingly re-soldering all four wires to their micro-sized clips for the motor plug, I decided I didn't ever want to do that again! \nI designed this Strain Relief bracket to fit the very tight spaces between the extruder motor and its mount on the Aurora A3 Prusa I3 printer. It may work for other printers with the MK8 extruders - I'm not entirely sure.\nPrint Settings\nPrinter Brand:\n RepRap\n \n Printer:\n JG Aurora A3 Prusa I3\n \n Rafts:\n No\n \n Supports:\n Yes\n \n Resolution:\n .2mm\n \n Infill:\n 100%\n \n Notes:\n This Thingi is only 1mm thick in most places, so printing at 100% Infill doesn't increase the time much, and you'll want that extra strength.\nIt does need supports (touching buildplate only).\nPost-Printing\nZip Ties Required\n You'll need to fit the top-part in first and then flex the bottom slightly around the base of the motor and then it will snap into place. You could remove the extruder from the mounting plate, but that's a pain.\nThere are 3 places for zip ties to mount it to the extruder motor.\nThe other is at the top to tie the two sides together with all those wires wrapped inside. \nYou'll find guides built-in to this thingi to help put the zip ties in the right places - See photo of MK8 on printer.
