Human: A high-performance drone racing platform built for speed and agility. Its durability depends on infill settings and printing materials used, allowing it to withstand rough landings. Recommended Hardware: - Four 4.5-inch propellers - Motors with a 2450kv to 2650kv rating, paired with a sturdy 12N14P frame - A compact 36mm x 36mm flight controller (tested with Dodo) - A four-in-one 36mm x 36mm electronic speed controller (tested with Favourite 20Ax4) - A small 25mw VTX with a fixed antenna mount (tested with Foxeer TM25) - A high-quality FPV camera (tested with Foxeer Arrow V1) - A VTX antenna - Thirty-millimeter round aluminum standoffs to secure the POD (5mm diameter) - Steel screws to hold motors in place (6mm recommended thread length) - Four-cell 1300mah lithium polymer batteries Printing Recommendations: - The POD should be printed with flexible filament, using a 70% infill and 1mm wall thickness. - Landing skids should be printed with flexible filament, using a 35% infill and 1mm wall thickness. - The bottom plate must be printed with rigid filament such as ABS or PLA, with the flat part facing down. Use a 35% to 70% infill (higher values may make it too heavy), 1mm to 2mm wall thickness, and 3mm to 4mm bottom and top layers. Adjusting infill settings will result in a frame that is either extremely lightweight or robust. Unfortunately, this platform will never match the strength of carbon fiber counterparts made with CNC machining, even when using common 3D printing materials like ABS and PLA. However, if you test the frame with better materials, please share your findings. Dimensions: - All files are in millimeters
