Aurora 11 desktop stand
prusaprinters

This stand has been designed to fit the Alienware Aurora 11 series. Prints in two parts due to bed size limitation.

NOTE: This project is very hard to print without edges lifting. I added some extra support in the corners and set the skirt to 0.6mm from the edge. That’s what worked best for me. You can easily shave off the skirt with a razor blade when the piece is cold. Comments are welcome if you find better ways to increase adhesion

I created G-code files for those of you with little interest into tweaking but I strongly suggest you use the slicer and crank up the extruder and bed temperature to the max your filament can hold. PETG would also be a better choice. G-code is set for Prusa PLA with a little extra temp and no fan. This will reduce warping on to the edge. This piece will take close to 15 hours so the first layers will definitely cool down and lack adhesion.

Successful print with Materio PLA 3D850 with extruder @225C and bed @65C. Pictures shows the pieces glued together with vinyl wrap.
