Aule Metele, also known as The Orator, is a 179 cm tall bronze sculpture. It is a Romano-Etruscan work created in the late second century or early first century BCE in the Roman style, depicting an Etruscan man wearing a short Roman toga and footwear. His right arm is raised to indicate that he is addressing the public as an orator. The inscription on the sculpture reads: "To Auli Meteli, son of Vel and Vesi, Tenine set up this statue as a votive offering to Sans, by the people's deliberation."
