August Smart Lock longer adapter

This is a fix for the August smart lock, designed to overcome its inherent flaws. The supplied adapter, unfortunately, wore out prematurely due to a poor design choice - it was just too short. Frustrated but not defeated, I contacted their customer support line and was instructed that I needed to purchase an entirely new deadbolt with a longer cam bar - a solution that seemed arbitrary and unworkable. Measuring those components is practically impossible. Moreover, this issue affects the Schlage lock, a widely used and respected brand. Undeterred by this setback, I took matters into my own hands and redesigned their faulty adapter to be longer and more engaging with the cam bar. My goal is to provide a solution that will benefit others who may be facing similar problems with the August Smart Lock.
