My friend's dad consistently misplaces the original hopper paddles for his walk-behind spreaders. Fortunately, these paddles fit securely on the adjacent shaft and also drop down 1/4" into the hole in the hopper to minimize looseness in the shaft. These were created using PLA material and the hex hole size measures 0.44", whereas the shaft dimension is 0.43". The contraction in PLA allows for a perfect fit. They've been thoroughly tested with four bags of seed so far, proving themselves highly effective! These paddles were specifically designed for the Scotts Turf Builder Pro Edge Guard spreader but should work seamlessly with any other walk-behind spreader that features a 0.43" hex shaft and 2" diameter paddle.
