Scale Mail for Aurelia's Halloween Costume I created scale mail specifically designed for my daughter Aurelia's Halloween costume. The scales were inspired by ellrabin's original design, but with a twist - they feature a subtle bend to give them a more realistic look. I printed dozens of the large bent scales and some smaller ones as well, which I then carefully sewed onto a jacket that would soon be too small for Aurelia. Pauldrons for Ultimate Protection For the pauldrons, I used yzorg's "Shoulder Armor" design as a starting point and modified it to fit Aurelia perfectly. By cutting them in half, I made them easier to print and scale down to 60% of their original size. Using a precision pin vice, I carefully drilled holes into the pauldrons so they could be securely sewn onto the jacket. A Custom-Made Helmet My wife crafted an incredible helmet for Aurelia, which I'm sure she'd be happy to share with anyone who asks.
