Seymour Krelboyne, a clumsy but lovable florist's assistant, has his life forever changed when he discovers a strange and exotic plant at Mushnik's Skid Row Florists. This peculiar plant, which Seymour names Audrey II after his crush, Audrey, begins to exert a strange influence over him, feeding on blood and flesh in order to survive. As the plant grows and thrives under Seymour's care, it becomes increasingly clear that it has developed its own sinister personality, manipulating Seymour into committing heinous acts of murder in order to satisfy its insatiable hunger. With each passing day, Seymour finds himself drawn deeper into a world of darkness and despair, all while struggling to maintain his relationships with his coworkers at the florist shop.
