Audix D-Vice drum microphone clip improvement part
thingiverse
This part replaces the spring-loaded component of the Audix D-vice drum microphone clip. The original component is too small and doesn't securely clamp onto many drums effectively. This replacement component was specifically designed to easily grasp onto drum suspension systems. Be cautious not to misplace the tiny metal rods when disassembling the spring mechanism. Each end of the spring features a small metal rod, with the longer one positioned on top. Remove the adhesive felt from the old part and insert it into the new part. The felt helps to dampen the spring's noise-producing vibrations. To disassemble and reassemble the part, I used an X-acto knife and a bent paperclip.
