Audio-technica ATH AD300 head support pads

This is a model of a replacement head pad for Audio-Technica AD300 headphones. The head pad itself replaces both original parts while sacrificing the ability to tilt back and forth. Print Settings Printer: Rebel II Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm layer height, 0.4 mm nozzle Infill: 100% Notes: Printed with PLA. Two perimeters are recommended for a more precise print. If possible, use a 0.1mm layer height to achieve smoother edges on the holes. A 15mm brim can be used, but it's not necessary if you print at a slow pace. The bed temperature should be kept low, around 70C after the first layer, as this model is prone to wobbling due to its short layer time. This replacement head pad is designed for the right side of the headphones; for the left one, simply flip the part in your slicer software. Post-Printing Remove any brim and snap each had pad onto the suspension mechanism's corresponding axis. Design Background The original pads on my AD300 headphones were damaged beyond repair. They would detach immediately when snapped onto the suspension mechanism due to tiny plastic pieces breaking off from the small retaining clips. Since Audio-Technica doesn't offer replacement head pads, I created a simplified version of the original design, merging it into a single piece in the process. This modification means that only left-right tilting is retained; forward and backward tilting are no longer possible.
