This is a fully printable 3.5 audio jack socket that connects directly to breadboard jumpers. I was looking for a cable to connect components of another project and decided to use standard audio cables - they are available everywhere, are relatively cheap, and you can get them in any length. The connectors for them are also pretty cheap at all the regular Chinese sites, but it takes around two months for stuff to get here from China, so I decided to design my own printable version. When I looked for something to use as the leads inside the connector, I got the bright idea to use breadboard jumpers - this means there aren't any additional non-printable parts, and it's very easy to use with a solderless breadboard. It works really well; I didn't test the durability of this design. I printed it in PLA at 0.2 layer height, 0.4 nozzle width, 100% infill, no supports - I believe it will work better and be more durable in ABS, PETG, or Nylon, but I haven't tried. This is a tiny model with somewhat complex geometry, so layer cooling is a problem; print slowly and with all the cooling you can get. I turned the speed down to 70% of my usual speed and turned on the air conditioner - you can clearly see the difference between the slower printed part and the normal speed one. Push the jumpers into the holes in the recessed side, there's a springy thing on the other side that's supposed to hold them; a little bit of hot glue will help if the jumpers fall out. The outside (the side the connector goes into) is the flat side with the round hole in the middle that should be on the build plate. There are two small bumps 1.2mm from the edge on two sides to help hold the socket in place - those are only 0.8mm wide for easy printing. The hole size is 9.6x11.2mm (plus a little bit for tolerance). I designed it with SketchUp, sliced it with Cura, and printed it on my Robo3D R1+.
