audio casette winder/drill
thingiverse
I was rummaging through a room and stumbled upon some ancient cassette audiobooks that I wanted to digitize, thereby salvaging the lossy physical copy. However, my cassette player was also exhibiting its age and lacked sufficient torque to rewind the tape since it was applying force to the larger of the two tape windings. Whipped up this contraption in a few minutes to utilize the increased torque of a drill. Exercise caution, as a drill possesses more than enough torque to annihilate your cassette. It functioned remarkably well! Couldn't have accomplished this improvised feat at such a low cost without my 3D printer.
