Use most current revision STL file, rev B. \r\n\r\nInstalling a "cold air" intake on an Audi or VW vehicle equipped with secondary air injection (SAI) requires special consideration due to its unique setup. The inlet hose to the pump typically connects directly to the factory airbox assembly, which is designed to capture contaminants and debris. Aftermarket "cold air" intakes, however, replace this assembly entirely. To address this issue, a filter needs to be installed on the SAI hose before connecting it to the aftermarket intake system. The adapter in question enables users to attach a 1-inch ID breather filter directly to the SAI hose while maintaining the factory connector's functionality.
