Audi TT Mk2 (8j) Tablet Holder for Samsung Galaxy S6
thingiverse
After nearly 2 years of trial and errors, and 7 iterations I've finally came up with something stable. This is a tablet holder that can be mounted in an Audi TT MK2 (8j), simply by removing one of the vents and inserting the "vent_hanger_male" into it. No need to use screws or anything else: to remove the vent simply create a bit of space with a credit card or similar and then pull the vent with bare hands, nothing more nothing less. The vent_hanger_female file simply contains a quad-lock female sized correctly to work with the male counterpart, coming from one of my other projects. This could potentially work with any other car that has a removable vent ( you could potentially adjust the size of the vent hole to fit the needs) V7 file contains the tablet holder itself. The design takes into account the space for the rear camera of the table, the charging port , the speakers and also, in each angles, a small overhang to avoid the table falling down. There is a cut in the upper part to slide the table into, from above. Hopefully I didn't miss any Important information about this project You can find the whole project here > https://github.com/emanuele-leopardi/blender/tree/main/Tablet%20Holder If this design is worth something to you, feel free to donate If you print this, leave a comment and let me know how it went :D
