The Audi TT is a compact two-door sports car produced by Volkswagen Group subsidiary Audi since 1998. It features consecutive generations of the Volkswagen Group A platform, starting with the A4 (PQ34). As a result, it shares powertrain and suspension layouts with its related platform-mates, including a front-mounted transverse engine, front-wheel drive or quattro four-wheel drive system, and independent front suspension using MacPherson struts. The digital model of the 2001 Audi TT boasts approximately 350,728 polygons, created entirely with triangles through digitally scanning the actual car for high accuracy. It includes group information for separate parts like wheels, seats, and steering wheel, but not doors. The model comes with logically named materials for easy recoloring, an mtl file for colorizing, and basic UV mapping without textures, requiring shaders like metal and fabric application.
