Available in coupé body, the RS5 boasts a 4.2 FSI engine that unleashes 450 PS (331 kW; 444 hp) at 8250 rpm and 430 N⋅m (317.15 lb⋅ft) at 4000-6000 rpm. This powerhouse is paired with a seven-speed S tronic transmission and quattro permanent all-wheel drive featuring a crown-gear centre differential and electronic torque vectoring. The RS5 rides on exclusive 19-inch alloy wheels in a five-arm structure design, wrapped in 275/35 tires or optional 19-inch winter wheels for added traction. Braking is handled by 365 mm (14.37 in) diameter ventilated aluminum front brake discs, with the option of upgrading to 380 mm (14.96 in) diameter carbon ceramic front brake discs for even greater stopping power. The RS5's performance is further enhanced by aluminum 8-piston brake calipers adorned with high-gloss black RS logos, electronic stabilization program, and speed-dependent servotronic steering. Audi drive select allows drivers to tailor their experience through three (or four with MMI navigation system) distinct modes: comfort, auto, and dynamic. Optional dynamic steering adds an extra layer of agility to the RS5's already impressive capabilities.
