AUDI RS5 DTM DIY illuminated Simracing Steering Wheel

This is a remake of the steering Wheel used by Audi and Aston Martin in the DTM Season 2020. This is a DIY Model, you have figure out some things by yourself. There is no manual. Benefits of this Model: -NO visible screws on the front -possibility to illuminate the buttons! You can print the rings around the buttons with transparent filament and use the included SMD holder (SMDs1.stl and SMDs2.stl to build a inner housing for the SMD's, parts need to be glued together) to illuminate them, or you can print the rings in any color you want to make the wheel look great. You can also use WS2812 RGB LED's, place them into the square holes, wire and illuminate via Simhub (Arduino required). This model is completely 3D printable but I highly recommend to make the baseplate out of 4mm aluminum, especially on machines which produce more torque than a Logitech Wheel. The inner design of the upper housing gives you the possibility to manage and hide your cables so that the illunitation is as even as possible. ++++Biggest part to print is: 251,5mm x 154,9mm x 30mm++++ If you have any questions, ask!
