A separate 3dsmax 2010 file is also provided, but it lacks the sophisticated lighting and rendering studio setups found in the other formats, instead featuring standard materials only. All file formats, including 3ds, fbx, lwo, c4d, and obj, come with basic materials that do not include advanced shaders or background settings. The 3dsmax file format is fully editable, allowing users to manipulate the model's surface using an uncollapsed smoothing modifier. Similarly, Maya files are also editable with this feature enabled. In contrast, all other formats are exported as high-poly meshes only, without any smoothing modifiers applied. When working with 3dsmax and Maya files, the lowest available mesh smooth level is clearly indicated in the wire view, alongside the high-poly wire view. This product includes three distinct 3dsmax files: an uncollapsed set file that allows users to make modifications to the model, a collapsed hipoly file with a cleaned modifier history for trouble-free use in other programs, and a studio file containing all rendering setups used to create the preview images. Due to differences in disk topology among computers, it may be necessary to adjust texture patches on the destination machine.
