Audi Q5 iPhone XS Max Holder
thingiverse
Here's a phone cradle designed to fit snugly into the Audi Q5 console's wedge opening. Unfortunately, it turns out that a basic iPhone XS Max is too large to fit comfortably inside as intended. This makes visibility rather poor. Inside this object, you'll find a channel for running normal cables through from either direction and connecting them to the cradle part via USB cable. The angle of this design is flat for now; I plan to modify it later so that the cradle faces more towards the driver for better visibility. Nevertheless, I'm thrilled to have regained my cupholder! To print this object successfully, you'll need to use supports of some kind. In Cura, I opted for "touching Buildplate" settings with a support overhang angle of 10 degrees and a line-based pattern. The result was clean separation without any issues. Note that the image shows an iPhone XS rather than a Max in the holder.
