Work in progress. Audi dash speaker grill incorporation features a 3-inch Focal Flax midrange driver. The best way to print this item is on its side, allowing for better support and structural integrity. To ensure optimal results, keep an eye out for delamination issues, which can be mitigated by printing in ABS or PETG, both of which offer excellent heat resistance properties. When preparing the other side, consider mirroring or reversing the design to achieve a seamless fit. This project requires post-processing (sanding, filler application, and paint) to achieve a high-quality finish. Additionally, modifications to the dash internals may be necessary to accommodate the speaker installation. Before commencing preparation, test-fit the item to ensure a precise fit. If necessary, use heat to gently bend the back edge of the print, allowing it to slide down parallel to the screen.
