IT WORKS!!! I don't know if I can call it universal but it fits with a 10" Dayton subwoofer. Only one thing you should be aware of, I added 10mm on top of sub so the travel of the cone doesn't hit the top cover. This create a bump and it is visible from the rear view mirror, ill add a photo.
