Audi 80 Boot Loom Seals

After recently repairing the looms on my Audi 80 cabrio boot, I set out to design a solution that would effectively seal the gap created by the new larger diameter loom and the worn-out rubber seals. I crafted a seal that fits snugly into all four holes, allowing for a 12mm diameter cable to pass through with ease. The design also enables retrofitting to existing cables, making it a versatile solution. To ensure a secure bond between the seal and the surrounding area, I plan to use a mastic to attach them in place. Once applied, the remaining gaps will be filled, resulting in a tidy and organized appearance.
