ATX - Raspberry Pi control panel for Disegna3D

A compact and versatile setup connects an ATX power supply directly to a Raspberry Pi, effortlessly controlling the operation of Disegna3D V4 through Octoprint. This ingenious arrangement gives you two operating modes: local control and RPi-based operation. When in local control mode, the printer functions normally without relying on the Raspberry Pi's active state, while when RPi-based mode is selected, the printer remains powered off until you instruct it to turn on via an Octoprint command. You can view the original concept of this project by visiting mfoster's Instructable at http://www.instructables.com/id/Using-the-Raspberry-Pi-to-control-an-ATX-power-sup/. My innovative design extends the basic setup by integrating a dedicated Soft Reset button located on the backside of the housing for those instances when your network connection becomes interrupted, forcing you to initiate a shutdown through Octoprint. To provide instant visual confirmation that the Raspberry Pi is active, I have added an illuminating LED that flashes at a 1Hz frequency. Those interested can look forward to a comprehensive project guide detailing this entire process being published on Instructables in the near future. The affordable and efficient Disegna3D V4 serves as the backbone of this system. For more information or purchasing details, please refer to http://Disegna3D.com for additional specifications.
